The tulip-shaped design of our trademarked TuLip® dampers guarantees smooth impact absorption. When under load, the tulip expands outward, leading to a controlled, linear progressive increase in force that decelerates the mass almost completely. TuLip® dampers are used in areas with singular impact loads
(e.g., emergency stop applications) that require high energy absorption in a very small space.
Unlike the TecsPak® dampers, TuLip® dampers are exposed to a limited number of impacts. TuLip® dampers are a cost-efficient and competitive alternative to components such as rubber bumpers and parabolic leaf springs. They are also much more compact in size and weigh significantly less.
